1. What Fred Collects
Fred collects the information needed to operate accounts, forms, submissions, integrations, billing, and support.
- Account data, such as name, email address, authentication provider, workspace membership, and role.
- Form data, such as prompts, fields, public form identifiers, embed settings, and configuration metadata.
- Submission data, such as field values, timestamps, source URLs, spam signals, validation results, and delivery status.
- Integration data, such as provider names, encrypted tokens, webhook URLs, destination IDs, and delivery logs.
- Operational data, such as request logs, device metadata, IP-derived security signals, metrics, and error traces.
2. How Fred Uses Data
We use data to provide, secure, monitor, improve, and support the service.
- Authenticate users and enforce workspace membership.
- Generate, host, validate, store, route, email, export, and retry form submissions.
- Operate integrations requested by a workspace.
- Detect abuse, spam, security incidents, and reliability issues.
- Send service messages, billing notices, and support replies.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Workspace owners decide what their forms collect and where submissions are sent. If you use Fred to collect data from visitors, customers, applicants, or employees, you are responsible for providing the privacy notices and obtaining the consents required for your use case.
4. Sharing and Processors
Fred shares data with service providers only as needed to operate the product, such as database hosting, object storage, email delivery, analytics, monitoring, authentication, payment processing, and connected integrations. We do not sell personal data.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
Fred uses cookies, session storage, and local storage for sign-in, dashboard preferences, dark or light mode, and basic product operation. Browser settings may allow you to block some storage, but doing so can break account and dashboard features.
6. Retention
Submission retention depends on the workspace plan and form settings. Logs, metrics, backups, and security records may be retained for longer periods when needed for reliability, audits, legal obligations, or abuse prevention. When data is deleted from active systems, backup deletion follows the backup lifecycle.
7. Security
Fred uses access controls, encryption where appropriate, protected file links, validation, monitoring, and operational safeguards to protect the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices
You can update account details, remove integrations, delete forms, export submissions, or request deletion through the dashboard or support. Some data may be kept where required for security, billing, legal compliance, or legitimate operational records.
9. International Use
Fred may process data in the countries where our managed service providers operate. By using Fred, you understand that data may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.
10. Contact
